I find it a very useful trick when getting the green one in or out of it's lockup, saves having to switch off the engine!

More work done last sunday. fitted fron highlows off my old white mini with new knuckles / cups. (still need to refit the bonnet) Tried fitting the new speedo cable, the bloke I bought it off at the L2B said you just reach up over the driveshaft but I have small hands and I cant get it through the space required. does the shaft need to be disconnected Will keep you posted on progress MOT is due mid month. speedo cable is a pain but you can do it with the engine in

Put the bonnet back on now but I never did manage to fit that speedo cable I tried from above and below even releasd the stabliser bars and pulled the engine forward but still no room from the top.
do you need a working speedo for the MOT?

Just got a bargin of Vanman from BMC 4x 6"x10" Mambas with Yokos £40 just got to get one of the yokos re fitted to the rim and a set of sleve nuts (£30 just for the nuts eek! :-\) oh and they will need a couple of hours of elbow grease to get them shiney again. Only thing is they are for a Cooper S ofset so either I need to get some spacers or a set of S discs... £30 vs £300 tough descision... Anyway will look well good once fitted. I also got round to tapping out my 8 ball gear knob which is now fitted and looks well cool.. just got to finish the subframes for the recaros now. N :-D
