Looks good mate! That's why I don't use the A22 to get to work anymore, too many (very) near misses with deer, esp in the early hours of the morning!

Bit rude boi for my liking. Car looks great though. How about some Speedline Turinis? I reckon they'd look awesome on there with the right offset.

I don't think there will be any issues as it is supposed to be all above board. I will get you to check it out some time just to be sure.

Well just hitting 76k now with an mot in April I know I need to fix my suspension top mounts and front control arm bushes still being in the right place at the right time i managed to bag my self an ultra rare full set of jcw sparco seats so out with the recaros and in with these For comparison side my side Ok so the don't have airbags or heating elements like the recaros but who cares when they look that good and hold your bum tight too. Only problems fitting them were linking out the airbags and swapping over the seatbelt pretensioners other than that only took a couple of hours Neil

Mileage now 77600 Done my front discs and pads using OEM parts and the guide suggested by Dean r56mini.com/cooper/diydiscsandpads/ nice easy job thanks for the link dean 2 more top suspension mounts done using OEM parts, but I'm getting used to changing them now... Something to do with running stiffened and lowered suspension on the UK roads Also had my front control arm bushes replaced with uprated poly-flex bushes by Mini Craft Sussex at a cost of £177 inc VAT. I don't know how they manage to do it at that price because OEM parts cost £60 a side from BMW and BMW quote a massive labour bill as the front subframe has to be dropped. Needless to say I am happy with their work and will happily recommend them to others: - www.minicraft-sussex.co.uk/Oh and just to tidy the car a bit I have clayed the rear end which was really dirty after all the winter crap and gave it a good polish Just need to get booked in for an MOT now. Two interesting things happened today firstly I hit 77777 miles Then I got a call from BMW saying my new strut brace was in... Basically when I was in there last week getting new top mounts they asked did I have one and I said no but I expect they are no longer available so they checked and this was the last one available so I treated myself to it with the money I saved on labour doing brakes and suspension. It looks so nice and is very rare so I'm worried about fitting it but at the same time no point keeping it in a box so will be fitting it as soon as I pass my mot Neil

Just waiting for it to stop raining now so I can switch to my summer wheels and fit my new strut brace

You travel some miles ever year, think mine last year overhead less than 4000 miles
That brace will look nice fitted. I was looking at them over a year ago. From what I read they don't really do much. But others say they do.
I expect how your drive and you're suspension set up so on yours in may make a difference.
Post a photo once done or even a step by step of how to.

Unfortunatly commuting is part of the job... not many engineering / aviation jobs in Eastbourne. Will get that brace on as soon as it stops raining and post a photo. It should only take 1/2 hour as you basically remove the old nuts fit brace with new sleeve nuts torque up job done. Not expecting it to do much but as it was the last one in the country I thought why not... If anything it may help beef up the towers and protect them from mushrooming which is quite quite common on r53s. Also need to swap to my summer wheels and post some photos of the seat airbag resister installation under my seats. Just taxed it online and the government have put it up £10 now it's £280 for the year!!! Not happy about that... its not like they fix the roads or anything they just spend them money on floating duck houses!!! N
