That halfords one is only £40
Think I will stick with a standard intercooler though

I know. £40 is good for a low jack. The good thing about mine is how lite it is and it has a full height handle.
But it's not worth spending 3x as much if you just want a cheaper low jack,
How much did you spend in the end with the discount card.

With the trade card it comes down to £32 Yours is one that would be nice to keep in the boot as it is lite but I can't fault the halfords one for value

Well with 86.5k on the clock that's nearly 500 miles done with this setup and I'm very please with the handelling improvement
it's a bit like moving from 13s to 10s on a classic mini you notice the wheels / tyres weigh a lot less and it does improve the handelling although that could also be the reduced ride height and increased camber
No additional rubbing in the arches but it does now scrape sometimes on baddley cambered roads. Also no driveshaft wobble which is nice I just wish I had done this mod 80k miles ago!

Think you should invest in a steel under tray. Or at least buy a few sumps. Ha ha.
Looks good. But I could not run it that low too many speed bumps around Julie's house. Ha ha.

Ha ha I know what you mean about speed humps they have fitted some near me now too! But in theory all you need to do is plan your journey and stick to roads without humps One place that does worry me is langney sports club as they have a killer hump on the entrance to the car park but if all else fails ill just park out side or use Hayley's car If it all gets a bit much ill just get bagged suspension Sump guard would be nice... Any suggestions? Neil

Rear pads done at the weekend. BMW now do a kit of pads and sensor for £50, genuine parts ordered against the chassis number and come with a 2 year guarantee Job only took an hour using my piston rewind tool £15 off eBay only thing was spongy brakes and 7 clicks on the handbrake after fitting but a quick spirited drive to engage the abs a few times and I now have a rock hard peddle and 3 click handbrake Happy days
