What kind of Bhp you hoping for once its all complete at a rough guess!?! Ant I can unlock upto 150-160 with an intercooler. I'll be happy with 140bhp and about the same torque. Its all way too much for an 'a' series road car, so will run an ECU map limiting the power to 100bhp(ish). But at a flick of a switch will be able to change the ECU map to 'Destroy Gearbox' mode.

Sounds impressive , liking the idea of the ECU map and need to switch it to 'Destroy Gearbox' a least once or twice !! Ant

Paul and I have been busy rebuilding our gearbox's. Heres the clean and empty box These bits are the gear selector forks, And the gears reassembled and in place. Expensive minispares Central oil pick up had to be modified as the support bracket did not line up! Just looking for a 2.93 diff rather than the MPi 2.76 diff to finish off the gearbox assembly. Ditched the idea of getting it in the car before IMM and Riviera run as I blew my budget on snow boarding So I hope to drop the engine in the evening I get back from the London to Brighton run. Popped into Gerald Dales Saturday, really like his front mounting for the the oil cooler. I'll be having one of those!

Getting ready for another big push over the top...
Kind of stopped rebuilding the gearbox half way through the build. Decided to drop the final drive ratio from the tall 2.76 to the 2.93 of a 998 Mayfair. That will be enough to pip Paul on the quarter mile with a standard engine ;D
The engine is going back to Stuart Gurr to make a correction, then in it goes in the car. About as simple as that....
Trying to get my custom charge cooler together, but with the recent acquisition of 'Project X' will have to put it on the back burner.
Still got a complete brake and suspension setup to over haul. Still looking for a set of Minilite 5.5x12 wheels which Midland wheel no long sell. Will drape them with the Yoko's finest A048. Then shortly after Castle Coombe she'll be off the road for the winter.
Its a plan, a big white elephant of a plan, but aim high, achieve low and all that.
