thought i'd update this for alex, managed to get 2 engines out this weekend, alex's knocking 1275 and kai's 1275 that he planted into a ditch last year, both came out quite easily and got kais 1275 back in alex's so should be running with a couple more hours of work!

about time, i did here that alex attention was taken up by the female kind ha ha ,

hope it will be on the road soon, it looks good on 10" wheels and even better when it can roll under its own steam.

dragged it out today for the first time in forever. got it running . now just to sort some seats and get it upto gerald

well gerald said hed call me friday but didnt so went up today as last time i spoke to him he said hed be in this morning but no one around so no idea whats going on haha. was going to come over to promote mag motors tommorow but thats looking doubtful. fingers crossed ill be able to get some time off from work to pick it up in the week!

had it back a week and done over 1000 miles already, perfect on way to newquay and back. few niggles but its a mini so always will be! big thanks to elliot who helped alot, nathan aswell and to all club members who helped me out along the way

nothing crazy, just 1275 metro lump with hif44 , pulls nicely . might do some work in the future but for now im happy just to be able to drive it again. ill hopefully get some engine pictures and more if the sun ever comes out again!

went up to london to brighton with a few people, went up to crystal palace in the morning then by the afternoon the sun came out , had a really good day!

Well ive been running a fletcher manifold since being back on the road and it was way to close to the gaiter on the pot joint, but with riv run booked i had to do some hammer time, use some lockwire to hold her on and go for it, luckily it was fine , and for london to brighton... until 4 miles from home heard a big pop, grease everywhere under the car

so been sitting since then, but got a new maniflow manifold last week and fitted it this weekend, so much better, about an extra inch clearance and with a brand new gaiter on aswell is back to normal.... for now

because one low car isnt enough

those eagle eyed viewers will see my exhaust hanging quite low off the mini, this was due to not considering quite a difference in ride height between an e type and my mini and driving into my bay at work and destroying my rear mounts in the process. limped home with some cable ties. going to try and sort all the little niggly jobs this weekend with the possibility of selling up. i want a hard top mini!
