Monday 14 september 2009 Hello fellow mini buddies I would first like to say thankyou to Rachel for a great job as club secutary and some of you may not be aware that Rachel has stepped down for a well earned rest .Thanks Daz for giving me this position as club secutary. I will try my best to run this post and support the club the best I can. Breif out line of mondays meeting.Dean suggested a fish and chip run no date was finalised but the first weekend in october was mentioned keep checking the posts.Also castle combe is on the 26 of september most tickets were given out so if you havent got yours please get in contact with lisa. On saturday 19 september Alan has posted on the forum about doing a run.We will be meeting at pevensey layby on the A27 at 3.00pm and finishing on Hasting seafront.Josie also asked for ideas big or small on 2010 pilgramege also volenters needed. Lisa informed us that ther will be a rolling road probably october if interested have a word with lisa or check posts on the forum. Daz mentioned that the AGM is coming up in December and that ALL commitiee rolls are avalible.Also suggested was monthly commitiee meetings and any ideas such as a quiz or a raffle on monthly meets so feedback from members would be a great help. Mini mick mentioned he has forms for the Hastings classic show on the 11 of october if interested contact mick on the forum. Thankyou for taking time to read Katy

Thank you Kate for stepping in.
I would also like to add that for those of you who wernt there, I will be stepping down as Chairman from AGM, i will not be putting my name forward this year.
Not saying i wont do it again in the future, but i would like to see the club from a members point of view.
I will be on hand to help out future Chairperson, if they require any help.
Again thankyou all for aal the feedback received.
And big thanks to rachel for all her hard wrok over the past 5 years.

Hello fellow mini buddies Unfortunatly Daz was unable to attend the meeting this month so Josie kindly stepped in to chair the meeting. Josie first started to welcome any new members and continued to ask if anyone waiting for membership cards to see Shirley at the meeting or to contact Alan on the forum. Also the last news letter was handed out,many thanks to Tony for a great job.Lisa mentioned dates for the Rolling Road Day.This will be held on the 7th of November,it kicks of at 10.00am but you need to be there an hour early.Ther are still room for more cars,so if interseted see details on the forum or contact Lisa.Lisa has asked for the money to be in by the 31st at the latest.Prices are £25 per car. Ideas for the christmas party were also disscused,but no dates at this time,all ideas welcomeon the forum. Other ideas were raised regarding fund raising for the pilgrimage,nothing verrified yet so any ideas in the forum welcome. the club will be voting for a charity to sponsor at the NOVEMBER meeting not the AGM in december, it has been brought forward, if you have any ideas, please say Josie also said there are minutes from the pilgimage meeting on the forum if anyone would like to read them.There are still positions avalible to help so check on the forum.Letters have been drafted for local busniess to try and gain support/donations for our chosen charity. There are still raffle tickets avalible for the caravan and entry tickets to Rivera run at Newquay in May next year.To obtain maximum discount the club needs to pay this by the end of Febuary. Josie mentioned her thread (a kind request) and is still trying to confirm a date for this,which will probably at the end of the month on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon,anyone wishing to attend please see thread. Hi Kate, Just one thing about your minutes - RE the voting for the charity: We will be voting for the charity at the November meet, not at the AGM as usual. This is because it will really help get the ball rolling for fundraising & contacting companies etc if we can tell them what our charity will be. Just to iron out any confusion ;D Thanks to everyone who listened to me rabbiting at the front of the meeting - it had been a very long day at work & was tired.

hi mini-buddies. minutes for november meeting are as follows,das started the meet by introducing new members.nominations for next years charity were taken and voted on,charities were :children with cancer:kent and sussex ambulance:british diabetic association and marie curie cancer care. children with cancer won convicingly.daz also mentioned l2b and stated that the forms would probably arrive next month they are first come first served as we useually only get 26 tickets and this includes 6 club stand places,also if you pay by cheque you will not get your ticket untill cheque is cleared.raffle tickets are still available for riveria.tickets for the caravan are £5each and only 1 per member, tickets for entrance are £1 per strip.josie announced that there will be various awards given at the agm.christmas party arrangements are as follows; 5th december meet at pevensy garage on the marsh road at 4PM do a run, then to frankie and benny's at the crumbles for 6PM.think thats all

monday 14 december Firstly i would like to appologise for these minutes being late not enough hours in the day. As you are all aware it was the AGM,all committe roles were up for grabs,everybody was re-elected except daz who did not stand for re-election.Matthew Dell [delly ] was the only contender so i would like take this oppertunity to congratulate Matt on becoming our new chairman. Big Tony agreed to assit lisa with the events co-ordination and Martin [mk1 morris] bravely offerd to carry on the running of the news letter.As we are all aware this roll can be very hard at times so any input would be greatfully recieved. Before i carry on i would like to thank all the committe members old and new for their past support and continued commitment. Daz stated there is still no input on L2B tickets he will keep us informed. Dave reminded members at 2010 rivera fees are due at january meet if paying by cheque,Feb meet for cash.IF YOU MISS THIS DEAD LINE YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN AS REGARDS BOOKING see Daves rivera post for prices and dates etc Thanks dave for your organisation. Josie also mentioned there will be a meeting in Jan as regarding the pilgramige date to be confermed,anyone that once to help please contact Josie on the forum via pilgramage thread. May i just remind everyone that membership fees are due in January,Febuary at the latest. Josie also mentioned some ideas about fundraising for the pilgramage but dates and venues to be announced. Josie rounded of the evening with a fun awards ceremony prizes went down well [yum yum]. A big thanks to Josie for all her hard work for organising the slide show and the awards. and on a more serious note .........

Monday 11 January Hello fellow mini buddies Firstly i would like to congratulate Matt on chairing his first meet,as most of us were aware he was very nervous. Matt announced a date for committee meeting this will be at Matt and lisa's house on 1 of Febuary. Memberships were due at this meet please ensure you are payed up on Febuary meet. L2B tickets arrived the theme this year is silver so everyone get your thinking caps on.Monies for this need to given to Lisa asap,see lisa's thread for more info. Lisa also mentioned about Brooklands this will take place on 28 March for more info check out the forum. Cheques for Rivera run needed to be given in at this meet,but if paying cash can be payed at Febuarys meet. Josie mentioned about the pilgramage,a few raffle prizes have been donated and also she is working on some events but nothing has been confirmed.These include the uckfield festival and among other fundraising ideas we may possibly be able to do a display in the arndale centre ,no date has been finalised but possibly in June. Monday 8 February 2010 1. Matt started the meeting with introducing Gareth as our new vice chairman well done Gareth for stepping forward for the job. 2. New memberships was also due at this meet.Also please remember you have to be a fully paid member to take advantage of club stands etc as you would not be covered under the clubs insurance. 3. New membership packs are being compiled for new members. 4. Matt mentioned ideas for the club stand at london to brighton.If any members have any ideas please post on the secret forum.If you don't know the password please contact a member of the committee. 5. Dean is in the process of updating the website,this will take time and Dean is looking into creating a virtual trophy cabinet on the site. 6. Lisa talked about up and coming events has various forms for these so if interested check on the forum as lisa has put loads of info up. 7. Matts been in contact with the surrey hills mini club pledging our clubs support for their easter mini run hopefully they will support our pilgrimage. 8. Josie talked about the pilgrimage run,there are forms and flyers which can be downloaded please read Josies pilgrimage thread. 9. Steve Medhurst has secured a weekend in the Arndale for 3 minis,hopefully this will help to promote the club these dates are the 12 and 13 of June looks like there will be 2 classic minis and 1 new mini to show that the club is open to ALL minis. 10. Lisa also mentioned about prom runs this year so if interested see forum and put your names down. 11. The raffle was drawn at this meet for The Rivera run caravan and the 2 entry tickets. Well done Gareth for winning the caravan and the winner and the 2 entry tickets was............... meeeeeeeee[sorry guys]. 12. Last but not least well done to Martin for his first news letter if you have any info or stories that martin could use please post him As with out your help this is a very difficult service provide. Monday 8 march 2010 Hello fellow mini buddies Matt started the meeting by announcing theme for l2b see secret forum. The club has also just obtained 2 bookers cards.These can be for anyone from the club whos organising an event.Lisa has one and I have the other, they must be returned after they have been used. Matt is trying to gather all the clubs trophies so a virtial trophie cabinet can be made. Lisa has many forms for different events these include Magnificent motors and Laughton if interested check out the forum or see lisa. Flyers have also been printed up for the Pilgrimage also with application forms and sponsership forms these can be obtained by lisa. Matt also reminded people of The surry hills mini club easter run.This will take place on thee 5th of April so if interested see the forum. Lisa mentioned about Beaulea,a clubstand is avalible and this event has to be payed in advance see forum for more info. Dave said there is an event coming up in October for Branshatch but no details as yet. Thanks for taking the time to read Katy

Monday 12 april Matt first mentioned about the trophies being rounded up soon so Dean can start the virtiual trophey cabinet. Also the club has purchesed a new marquee for future shows. Lisa mentioned about new members packs these being processed. Daz vollentered himself to ride the go cart for London to Brighton ,well done Daz for being such a good sport. Lisa mentioned about up and coming events.If anyone interested in Laughton Lisa has the booking forms,also if any one has any more ideas for the club stand for London to Brighton please post it on the secret forum. Prom runs were also mentioned and volenteers needed please see forum if interested. Josie talked about the pilgrimage,a few names were mentioned for marshals on the day but if any one else intersted in helping please let Josie know as all help will be welcome. Josie mentined they have a few entry forms in for the pilgrimage.You can pay on the day but wont be garenteed a run plauqe. Dates were mentioned for our place in the Arndale centre.This will take place on the 12-13 of June.There is a space for 3 cars and we are allowed access on the Friday evening or 8am Saturday morning Cars have to be left in the Arndale until the Sunday evening.Any more info to come will be posted on the forum. Josie talked about The uckfield picture house no dates have been decided the 2nd week of July was mentioned but nothing finalised yet so keep checking the forum. Helpers are also needed for this event so if interested but your name forward. Ideas welcome for the film and there will also be fancy dress .Grease was mentioned but this has already been done, so any other ideas would be great. Martin mentoned that he is able to email people the news letters if they are unable to attend meetings. A run was talked about by Steve Medhurst.No dates have been finalised but go carting at Filching manor and a meal at the Star was mentioned,so keep checking the forum for more info .
