Monday 10 may 2010 Matt first started the meeting talking about London to Brighton. Those that are doing the club stand are meeting at newmarket layby at 7 am on sunday (16). Dark trousers must be worn for thhe men and dark skirts for the women.Also a white shirt. All are welcome to this event so come along and support the club. dates have been set for tthe arndale centre these are 12 and 13 of June. One more space was left for a car so if interested check out the forum. Lisa mentioned up and coming events. These include Beaulie on the 13 of june if interested see the forum.Also mentioned was the pilgrimage on the 27 june for more info check the pilgrimage page. monday 14 june Unfortunatly matt wasnt avalible at this months meet as un well so our lovely lisa stood in for him. Lisa firstly mentioned prom run on the 1st of july.More cars the better so if interested check post on the forum. There will be a BBq run on the 4th of july all are welcome.see events page for more info . Lisa also mentioned up and coming shows these included classic car show which lisa has the forms for ,this will take place on the 30 of August see forum for more info.Forms are also avalible for Laughton in september so see lisa for more info. Southern mini days is also coming up so for more info see the forum. Josie talked about the pilgrimage as it is the last meet before.We will be departing from beachy head car park at 10 am on 27 of June but you need to get there early to regester and receicve your run plaques.There will also be raffle tickets avalible £1 a strip and there are many prizes up for grabs on the day for more info see the pilgrimage page. Monday 12 July Matt firstly mentioned the next commity meeting will be on the 30th of July at 7.30pm at Matt and Lisa's. Dean also requested that he would be greatfull of any pictures of The pilgrimage to put on the gallery as he dosent have many at the moment ,so if anyone has any pictures please contact Dean. Well done to all that attened and organised the prom run,£50 was raised for the children with cancer fund so well done again. Lisa also talked about up and coming events.These include Minis by the sea,there are 5 club stands avalible so if interested please contact Lisa via the forum for more info. Southern mini days is also coming up,club stands also avalible for this event and has a circus theme,camping is also avalible so if interested check out the forum. Lisa also has track passes avalible for castle coombe,there are 5 avalible so if intereted contact Lisa and the money needs to be payed asap for these. There is no show avalible in september for laughton as they are fully booked,but The festival of transport has been booked for the bank holiday weekend in August so see the forum for more info or contact Lisa. Dean also mentioned about a fish and chip run hopefull this will be taking place on saturday the 31st of July but nothing finalised yet.It will be an evening run at around 6.00 or 6.30pm meeting at usual place (pevensey layby) more details to be posted on the forum as Dean is currently sorting out this run. Finally Martin has also asked for any info for the news letter as he dosent attend all shows and events so all info greatfully recieved and forward to Martin via the forum or send him an email. Monday 9 August Matt started the meeting with mentioning a change in the commitee roles. The position for social secutary has gone and been replaced with an events co-ordinater to assisted Lisa with up and coming events.Martin kindly put himself forward for this roll well done Martin. Lisa and Juile will be taking the rolls to organise next years pilgrimage,so if any one has a ny ideas regarding next years pilgrimage posts on the forum will be greatfully recived. Minis by the sea was mentioned by lisa.This will be taking place on the 5th of September.Clubstands avalible for this event if anyone interested. Castle coombe was another event taking place on the 25th of september so if interested see the forum. Festival of transport is at the end of this month the dates for this are 28th,29th,and 30th of August. Matt also mentioned about non members on club stands. Please could you all remember that if you want to do these events you must be a fully paid member as it invalidates the clubs insurance. Josie talked about this years pilgramage,there are many plaques left from this event so if anyone would like one please speak to Josie. Josie also mentioned that the essex mini club are doing a run on the 17the of october,so if any members are interested please see the forum. Well done all members who took part in a nd organised the pilgrimage. This event raised £200 for the clubs charity so well done again. The EDMC website was a also talked about as there maybe some changes.many would like to see something on the site to say whos a fullypaid memeber.This is something that Dean is looking into. hi all. minutes for september meet. daz turned up with the trophys,dean will now be able to create our "virtual trophy cabinet".matt has asked daz to compile a quiz for next month,lisa has found a new supplier for t shirts and hoodies which looked great modelled by matt, hoodies are £15 t shirts £12 navy and black. colours are £2 extra. the logo is embroidered so these not only look better, they will last longer,still see shirley for orders.a vote was held for the pilgrimage ending,and Eastbourne was the unanimous winner.it was also voted on that we will open this event to all classic vehicles as this could generate alot more interest and maybe more funds towards the charity.castle coombe on 25th more info on forum free places have all gone.dave has left word about racing day at brands hatch,he is NOT organising this,just posted info on forum.new venue is being sought for rolling road, more info as it becomes available.steve medhurst has volounteered to organise xmas meal and run, well done steve.finally if your name on the forum doesnt say "fully paid member" please let alan know as he is trying to update forum

Monday 11 october 2010 Hi all minutes for october meet .Matt firstly talked about the AGM coming up,all posts are avalible so if interested put ypur name forward. A vote was also cast as to the clubs charity being changed or keeping it to the children with cancer fund,and after a unanimous vote was returned the club decided to keep to the same charity. Also mentioned was changing the name of the pilgrimmage,a new thread will be opened on the forum for any ideas to a new name. Steve Medhurst talked about the christmas dinner this year,this will be held at the Star inn at Normans bay.The meal has 4 courses and will cost £14.95. max There will be a small run to begin that Steve has organised ,meeting at B&Q carpark,Hampden park,Eastbourne and we will be meeting at 7.00pm Friday 10th of December , for those who cannot do a run, meet at The Star inn normans bay for 8.00pm l,so if interested please see forum. Matt also discussed about inviting more BMW minis into the club.Most members voted this a good idea and all BMW owners would be welcome into the club.Also disscused was updating the forum so there is a section for BMW minis. lisa mentioned abut the essex run which will be taking place on Sunday 17th of October.There wasnt a lot of info regarding this run but Lisa does have an email address for the essex club if any one interestsed please contact lisa. Also mentioned was Rolling road day.This will be held at a new location in Hastings.The date for this is on the 27th of November and costs £30 per car ,deposits of £10 were taken at the meet so if interested please see lisa for address and more info regarding this event asap. Dave showed off some fibreglass bonnets and threw round a few ideas for future parts in fibre glass see Daves thread regarding sales and if you have any ideas. quiz to be held next month

Monday 8th november
Matt started the meeting reminding people that the AGM is coming up next month.All comettiee roles will be avalible so if interested please put yournames forward. Lisa talked about the rolling road day,this will be held in st Lenards this year and will be taking place on the 27 of November.If interested please contact lisa for more info and also if members have put their names down and have to cancel please inform Lisa asap. This years christmas dinner will be taking place on the 10th of December at the star inn. The cost of the meal is £14.95 ahead so if interested please see the forum and put your names down. Also mentioned was a new name for the pilgrimage next year.if anyone has any ideas please put them down on the forum.Lisa has informed the council of this event and as of yet lisa is still waitng for a reply from them as regarding the start and finish location in Eastbourne so keep checking the forum. Monday 13 December Matt started the meeting that no changes in the committe all old committe members are staying,the only change is that Julie will be lisas events assistant,and Daz will be the club stand co-ordinater. sadly the rolling road day was cancelled,but Lisa is suggested if we can find a location for it ,it maybe scedueled for January so any ideas for a location post on the forum. Lisa is still waiting for a reply from the council as to the start and end of the pilgrimage. Dave also said he would be more than happy to carry on organising the Rivera run for nexy year.so if interested start but your names down on the forum. Dont forget to renew your memberships in January no change in the price still the same. Monday 10th January Matt started the meeting stating that Feb nxt meet will be later on the 21st. Steve unfortunatly didnt have anymore info on the auto testing,only that it will be free so keep checking the forum for updates. Lisa mentioned about up and coming events these include,Brooklands which will take place on the 27th of March.Also Lisa will be sorting out this years London to Brighton so if members are interested please see lisas posts. Steve also mentioned about an Italian run in France.This will take place on the 26th of March,the cost is £89 for a car and 2 people so if anyones interested please check the website. The Rivera run was also mentioned,the date for this is on the 29th of April (which is a bank holiday this year),and we return on the 2nd of May.The price for this is £27.50,there is only spaces left for camping as all caravans are now fully booked,so if interested please see foorum and put your names down. Monday 21st Febuary Matt started the meeting with the club insurance.The amount of the insurance has more than doubled this year.Matt mentioned that we may have to raise membership fee next year to cover this. The name for the pilgrimage was also voted, names mentioned was,EDMC family fun ,Beachy head bash ,EDMC retro run,EDMC sussex tour and Classics for Cancer round tour run. The winner was 'Beachey head bash'. London to Brighton was mentioned.Lisa said there are 3 more spaces avalible for the run and 4 places for the club stand,so if interested see the forum. Lisa also mentioned Rolling Road Day,unfortunatly a date hasnt been set for this yet,but a location has been found,this shold be taking place at Kent classics so for info keep checking the forum for updates. Applications for Laughton have been sent,but lisa informed us that there is a second booking avalible for anyone else that would like to take part in this show. The dates for this are 28,29 and 30 of May so if interested get in touch with lisa. Ringmer show was also talked about,the dates for this show are 30,31st of july so see forum for more info,also may i add that both of these shows are FREE. Another show that is coming in March is Brooklands this will take place on the 27th of March so if interested put your name down on the forum. Matt also mentioned about the auto test.If interested start putting your names down on the forum so this event can start to be organised and may i just add that this will be FREE. Aclub stand co-ordinater is also required,this involves organising club stands,mainly london to brighton so if interested put your names forward. Matt started this months meet reminding members that may met we are having a bring and buy sale,so any unwanted mini parts bring along.Matt also mentioned that we are in need of a club stand co-ordinater so if interested please put your names forward. Lisa talked about london to brighton this year,as ive just mentioned that a club stand co-ordinator is needed to make a club stand for this event.This will take place on the 15th of May,and the theme this year is school days so if anyone has any ideas for the club stand please post ideas on the secret forum.Lisa has forms avalible for our Beachy Head bash,the date for this event is 26th of June,we are also inneed of raffle prizes all donations greatfully recieved. Also if interested another show is The Bongo Bash the dates for this is 22-24 of July,so if interested in this show see the forum and put your names forward.This event is also supporting the children with cancer fund. July 2011
Matt opened the meeting by thanking everyone who supported the Beachy Head Bash. It was a good turnout for our first run ending in Eastbourne. The final total has not been counted as Stephen has a charity bike ride from Southampton to Eastbourne . Money raised will go to the charity so please donate to Stephen at Just Giving.
Matt then reminded everyone that the club constitution has been amended. Paid up members only are able to vote. If you are unable to make the meeting you can vote by post or by sending a pm to a committee member.if you wish to stand for a committee role you must announce your intention to stand at least two weeks before the December AGM. To stand for the role of Chairman you must have been a committee member for at least one year.
Minis on the rec show is on july31st, some members are at Ringmer show but if you are free you could go along as some Brighton members supported our charity run. This show is free and we have a club stand with places available.
The Bongo Bash is on the weekend after next at the 6 Bells Chiddingly, lots of bikes and burlesque acts to see !!!
Minis by the sea is taking place on September 4th, if you would like to take part please add your name on the thread.
Kent and Sussex Classics in Uckfield are available to do our Rolling Road in October or November,date to be confirmed soon as their racing season is now over. It will be £35 each car, they have a small classic car museum and food will be available. Some other venues are being contacted to see if they are more value for money.
Laughton Show, Ringmer Show ,and Festival of Transport all forms have been sent off but you may be able to apply for a place online if you have decided you would like to go.
Castle Coombe, there are still track passes available for this at £21 each so please put your name down on the thread if you want to attend. This takes place on September 24th.
