well its hit a big milestone. the welding work is nearly finished just a few bits to grind down, but it now go off of blasting, its over in billinghurst being soda blasted, they are doing the whole car inside out out every little corner, then covering in in a zinc protective coating, should take 2 weeks, so should get it back before christmas. little bit of tickering over christmas and new year, and it will go to the painters at the begining of january. no point it sitting in the paint shop over christmas and new year when there not there. yesterday was a mission to get it ready and on to the trailer. i must say a BIG BIG thank you to dave for his help clearing the garage and loading the shell on to the trailer. hear are a few photos and where is it now

well its still at the blasters and not heard anything yet, they said it would be 2 weeks. as i have an empty garage, well still in a mess, ( job for the weekend) i decided to fit some of the nice things i have bought. about 3 weeks ago i bought a maniflow steel twin inlet mainfold, so i decided to try fit it to my head, with my freeflow exhaust manifold, and it all fitted with no problems, all sits flat on the head and no twists, but it should do for how much its cost me, going over to the body shop tomorrow after work to book the car in and have a chat

Looking good, maniflow always produce good quality products but with a price tag like you said - my stage 2 LCB manifold fitted with no problems first time! Where you getting the mini paint work done...? Thats my goal for next summer, bodywork and full re-spray! Ant
