Good news Rachel........
Shawns Cooper also got its Mot today ......... the worst bit was trying to get it through the emmissions test . It failed the Basic emissions as CO to high and I then had to do a full emissions test. It failed the first fast idle test but passed the second . So it just passed thankfully .
Bit of luck the duckling will be next

Hi all Some of you may know that I have been having problems with Bogeys clutch lately. I changed the slave cylinder and hose but still the problem remained Today, with my VERY able assistant Josie we changed the master cylinder ;D ;D ;D Fingers crossed the problem is now solved ;D ;D ;D Josie got the fiddly job of removing the split pin ;D While I undid the bolts on the old cylinder ;D Josie became a contortionist to refit the split pin ;D Finally the two of us examining the old cylinder ;D No wonder I had problems ;D Thank you Josie for your help ;D We really need to get the training sessions going ;D You can now demonstrate master cylinders and clutch bleeding ;D ;D ;D ;D

I will have you know that I ate one whole piece ;D I shared the rest with you I know. ;D Thanks for the training session. When I get to work on Matilda you'll have to give me a hand in changing the diff pin! ;D ;D ;D (learning to at least! ) Though I'm guessing it'll be more than that 10min job that lasts 1.5hrs, like today!

What's a diff pin? I am sure I will find out soon enough ;D It was Tony that said it would be a 10 minute job, but his logic did make sense............sort of

What's a diff pin? Something to do with the gear box, and if I dont change it in Matilda soon, she'l blow out just like Daves' Sidewalk did - hence the broken pin....& inevitably the Sod's Law award! ;D

Oh and then you have to engine the engine out to take off the back of the gearbox. You can come around and have a go with Josie at Matildas if you want?
