;D
Though i better type something about Roger.
Firstly i need to remove fusebox and check over and if need be replace it, as i have a small problem of headlights working only when they want too. i did replace switch but this was not the culprit, traced back to fusebox.
Secondly i need to jack him up and check all mountings and steadys as i have a knocking noise when changing gear, the only way i have managed to sort this problem so far is to turn thestereo up ;D, will see if i can get him up in the air this sunday coming.
Also need to find a nut to fis flexi brake hose through front subframe, but current bodge seems to be holding up at the moment (jubilee clip)
Yesterday i went round lisa and matts and used there water, electric and hoover, i soent aprox 2 hrs washing and polishing and hoovering roger out.
I was very impressed with the polish that was given out at l2b and i will be adding it too my shopping list when my current turtle wax runs out.

Found out what my knocking noise is, Subframe mount has given up.
Also I do believe it is time to change ball joints, knuckle joints, bearings, donuts, shocks/dampers.
Roger is at the moment sagging on one side prob due to the subframe mount, but will have to take a closer look this afternoon and confirm.
I have heard some noises coming from Roger the past few days, but to sort the problem i turned the stereo up hehe.
Is there any donuts cheaper than £30 odd each anywhere?

Well i did something this past weekend that i have never done before Instead of the £2 peice of useless tat that is normally brought at shows i actully spent money on very useful stuff ;D I actually spent £300 yes you did read right £300 on stuff for Roger. With a little help from my personal shoppers and min guru (Thanks Rachel ,Tony, Josie and Guru Dave) I brought ;D 4 x Genuine Rubber Cones 4 x knuckle's 2 x front bearing kits 2 x hub kits 2x front dampers 2 x rear dampers 2 x front subframe mounts 2x tower subframe mounts 2 x mech fuel pump gaskets 2 x castle nuts 2 x split pins 6 x grease nipples 1 x park switch 4 x rubber bushes (cant remeber what for ) A set of other bushes i think pair of Wipac halogen conversion headlights Think that is the complete list Work will start on wednesday with a little help from rachel and her drive. Nice one Daz , great to see decent bits fitted for once . The suspension is one of the most neglected bits on a Mini . If people realised how well a Mini drives with just new standard suspension bits they would not be buying chrome tat, awfull dashboards , seats and stupid exhausts.
The most noticable thing when i first drove my mk1 once completed was the suspension . A million miles better than the worn out Studio 2's suspension had to offer .
