:)After some trouble free motoring in roger, he decided it was time to play up The Friday before his welcome home tour he decided to throw a wobbly and i lost me clutch He was still drivable so got him home, went round rachels to borrow bleeding kit, after several attempts with no luck, Rachel had a look and noticed me rubber on the slave cylynder was perished, (note to self- must go to specsavers). So i pinched rachels old slave cylinder and replaced my grotty one with hers. I now have a clutch, i think it still needs another bleed but is all working fine now. During the week i thought i would replace my joining blocks with male/female bullit connecters on me stereo, and re position my immobiliser and fit ciggy lighter. Did me stereo and immobiliser but it got dark, came back to it next day and finished job. Today had stereo on and the screen went blank, then noticed that my windscreen rubber was leaking in 2 places, 1 directly over my stereo. So stereo is now in airing cupboard drying out hopefully no major damage has been done. On order is a new rubber, chrome insert, and chrome finishing strip thinghy, ready for next weekend. Also i have purchased a second hand Sparkrite SX2000 elecy ingition module, hopefully this will arrive for the weekend to. Will take photos of work in progress . until the next report daz

;DMy new toy arrived today so thought i would fit as it was still light. Before anyone says anything, on my "to do list" is to clean up engine and bay. Here is the "before Pic" Moved the Coil round and clipped on Sparkrite sx2000 Then had to connect the blu and red wires to the + terminal on the coil, Also had to dissconect - negative wires and test module Then the white wire was connected to the wire that was connected to the - Negative terminal of the coil Then the Purple wire was connected to the -negatvive terminal Then Green wire to suibital Earth Then tested engine to see if it would run Over weekend wiil make sure points are in good nick and adjust accordingly as with timing, then see how the module does. apparently can give you better fuel consumption due to increased spark and less adjusting of points and less changes as well. only time will tell daz

;DToday saw myself and my assistant Rachel taking out roger's windscreen and replacing the rubber and trim ;D After removing wiper blades started to push the screen out Wasy bit done Was very suprised to find the metal work very clean all way round ;D Decide to follow techy tips off Minifinity ;D, my advice dont bother more sealant ended up on the windscreen than in the rubber :oOh and i have a bald patch appearing After a bit of fiddiling around managed to get screen back in place ;D Best job of all not, putting in the trim to lock it all in place, most of it went in alright but had to push some areas in where the tool slipped out due to amount of fairy liquid that was used. ;D Then a thorough clean to get rid of sealant and a scrape with a blade and was all done ;D ;D ;D A big thankyou to rachel for her help, next job is to wash the whole car his once a month polish Daz

;D Latest report,
Yesterday i fittec two strips of velcro to my pillars with textile glue and four rivets. this appears to have cured my little problem of the roof flying open when driving along in gusty winds and wind speeds generated by the car moving. ;D
Today Roger went to Gerald Dales for his dyno tune ;D
The first run he clocked up 44.6bhp @4806rpm.
Gerald said this very good but more could be had
2 or 3 runs later and some slight adjustment of fuel mixture and timing Roger peaked
He is now running 48.2bhp @ 4841rpm ;D
well chuffed with that as i was expecting something around 35-40 bhp.
any way all set for the weekend just a wash and polish and hoover to go

>:(Famous last words :- Its only a quick job wont take long!!!!!! ;DWhat started off as nice easy job, turned out to be a disaster. ;DManaged to buy of fleabay a pair of discs and pads with about 2000 miles use, and a pair of calipers with about 20000 miles use on them for £40. These were brought to rectify my sudden loss of brakes. All was going well, managed to change drivers side qutite quickley ;D then muy problems started First i broke the adaptor on the torque wrench then i sheared a wheel stud. Thankfully Tony had some spares, havent replaced yet. So not to be deafeated i made a start on the near side. All come off ok, got disc back on reattached caliper and shearesd the flexi brake pipe inside the caliper grrrrr At this point a few choice words were spoken and a spanner ended up bouncing along the driveway. Managed to get a replacement brake hose. All what was left to do was remove old hose and replace with new hahahahahahah simple job not After about an hour a phine call to dad, he came down and tried, but in the end the angle grinder came out. so now needed a new brake hose and unions. Hopefully dad will be getting these made up tommorro, so hopefully all will be done. Rachel has taken some pics no doubt she will post them up. And also Roger is now known as :- Roger the Lodger, as he is currently on rachel and tonys drive. Thankyou very much tony and rachel ;D ;D daz
