Yes all water tight now, apart from small leak in roof which i think ihave fixed with some clear sealent,
Neither to the above Possible stage 1 at some point in the future or even an upgrade to 1275cc rebuilt by myself at another point in the future(when i can afford to buy a house witha garage and driveway)
Lots of plans that wont be come reality for the forseeable future.

you may want to get a car cover while its out in the rain it will help to keep that rust away for a bit longer and keep the paint wotk looking nice , and from cats climbing up and clawing your roof,
WELL DONE FOR GETTING IT BACK, NEXT IS TO GET IT BACK ON THE ROAD

Hello all,
Today while waiting for Heather to decide weather she is having the baby or not in hospital, i went and did a bit to Roger.
I have fitted my 99p fleabay bargin dashboard with 2 kenwood speakers, JVC head unit, and clocks.
All fitted nicley just need to take off and put speedo cable, electric socket, and rev counter wires on.
All good fun.
Still need to drag it out and wash him then use a compund to sort the paintwork out as some blotches have appeared, then a thorough polish ready for end of jan.
will take some pics next time as i forgot camera.

;DWhatto, Have spent the day with Roger today and got him ready for the end of the month. ;D I arrived and found the driveway clear ready for me to do me bits, and took this pic of "Roger Undercover Agent" Roger had his cover blown so no longer an "agent" Had Dash back out and storted out speedo, rev ,conter, and dash wires and added a couple of "extras" while i was at it. Here it is all in place, can you see thee added "extras"? Another one with the added "extras" not so visible! Here you go the added "extras" 4 red led's, these have been connected to the spare wires that were left over from the interior light when it was removed. They come on when the doors are opened. ;D ;D Roger waiting for his wash After his wash 1 ;D After his wash 2 ;D I have found a small problem with the led's, when doors are closed there is a small current "escaping" thru allowing the lights to stay on very dimley(spelling) , will sort this out by adding a diode to the circuit which hopefully should sort the problem. Any way that is all i will do for now and dont expect to do antmore until he is back on the road at the end of the month. ;D

I would of thought of something different, but the dash had 4 holes already there, i just needed to drill them out to the right size to make the led's fit. and this way i cant get done by the law cos they aint on constantly hehe

im liking the bargin dash you got there Daz. i was onnaput something like that in betty. but hidden so they light up the footwells I was going to do something similar with Matilda - got some purple LEDs to wire up so to light up in foot wells, dash & other conspicuous places. But yet to get round to getting the LEDs to work..... Left my old job with all the tools, spare parts & decent soldering equipment before I got round to doing the lights. Roger is looking good Daz, well done!
