simons face was a picture after he drove all the way to the workshop looked at the duck to find thay were gone   after lots of fiddling he got a new pair in the last 3 days have been si saying i dont belive it then there was light !!!!  |

The Ducks storming around the countries motorways, another 500miles this weekend! A white BMW with lots of blue lights showed her some affection when it ran over the ducks wiper blade on the M6 toll road! The PC was a mini owner and kindly pointed out my rear tyres are just legal.  He was even happier to see the replacements in the boot! Slapped on the spare wiper arm and blade from under the passenger seat. Will attack the whole wiper on Friday me thinks.  Just a month till she is retired anyway. Still not sure if its permenant..... |

16,000 miles later, the MOT & Tax is due. But its time to give the girl a break, Couldn't risk a last cross country drive home from Bristol on Friday the 13th... instead a Thursday evening, outside motorway lane, dash home in torrential rain all the way fitted the bill! 46mpg, fault less running in the rain and only a few running repairs! thankyou Dave for a storming 998, + my 3.1 diff and AC dodd for showing me how to rebuild my carb and twisting my arm to take a rebuilt late eleci dizzy off your shelf. Cheers Paul for the late night front hub change pre Uni. S disks & A008 rule Coombe! ;D Apart from the MPI Balmoral, shes been the best miles to maintenance mini I've had! A beaten up 1983 998 Mayfair! What ever will the duck look like next summer?!   |

Well next summer is approaching and the ducking will soon be broken for spares. Keeping all the running gear for getting the GT rolling but the shell will be up for grabs/scrap. We'll see.
