AGM

Hi all

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I will be standing down as secretary at the December AGM and will not be seeking re-election.

I have carried out this role for the best part of five years and feel it is time someone else had a go.

I will not be leaving the club and will continue to support it and events.

If you are interested in taking over and want to know more about what it entails, please contact me. Alternatively, let other committee members know that you seek election at the AGM.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me over the last few years and I look forward to seeing what the new secretary brings to the role.

This is very sad news i do think it is going to be very hard to fill your shoes as u put so much work into the things u do for edmc and have been so committed ,
Not sure how the club will be able to move forward without u active on the committee.

i feel that i must give my thanks to rachel, as without her the club would not be where it is today. And without her support amongst others i wouldnt be here now.

So a very big thankyou from me, but afriad you dont qualify fot the golden carrige clock, thats only given to comitee members with 50 continoui years serving on comitee lololol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi All EDMC members.

As part of the AGM in December, I have decided to do another awards ceremony similar to 2007. ;D

For those who were in attendance last time, I hope that you found it quite entertaining & can support this years' event.
It will consist of a presentation with prizes (don’t get too excited though - it's only a bit of fun!)

I am looking for nominations for the following categories:

Best Male Fancy Dress
Best Female Fancy Dress
Best Group Fancy Dress
Best Club Pose
Best Bodge job for 2009
Best Dressed Mini (rebuild)
Most entertaining Spectacle of the year
Best developed mechanic
Most unlucky member with Minis award

Please can you PM me with nominations (not post them here as that would spoil the surprise) Closing date for nominations will be Monday 30th November.

If you have particular nominations, it would help to have photos relating to it, so please if you have a picture in mind then let me know so I can add it to the presentation.

There will be other categories, which will not be disclosed at this stage.
Once all nominations have been collected (by the end of November) I will inform all nominees via PM (just like last time). I ask that all nominees can please attend the AGM in the hope you may win something! ;D

Hi All,

Just a reminder that I am still looking for some more nominations for the above awards. I am also after some pictures too as some will be used during the awards but also will be setting up a big slideshow of the year so we can all remember those fun times!
