Hi all,
Just over a year since we got him, I finally got to drive Harold for the first time yesterday, for what was his first drive and MOT for almost 27 years.
He has not been fully restored in order to preserve some of his history, however the underside has been fully stonechipped and painted following the repairs as a lot of the underseal was flaking off. Heres a few pics of his progress over the past 5 months.
Harold on a spit. Unfortunately this was designed for Healeys and he can't be tipped fully on his side but it does
give good access to the underside.
Because the floors and lower edges of the cross member were rot virtually all the way across, the crossmember was removed,
floors and cross member repaired and then refitted.
N/S Lower A-panel repair.
The floors under the crossmember area were the worst part on the car.
