imho=in my humble opinion rb320= a special edition Subaru Impreza with 320hp in commemoration of the late Richard Burns. A matching pair would look very cool!

well, its been 4 and half years seens i brought it home, and its just clocked 30,000 miles. still not missed a beat . put a few tyres on the front, got the disc and pads to do soon. other than that its been fine, normal servicing, mot etc well time to have a bit of change, body trim wise, i got fed up with the chrome and wanted to tone it down abit. last week a JCW aero kit come up on ebay locally, so i snapped it up, front and rear bumper are fitted along with the grill and surounds in black, just the side skirts to go, also changed the headlight and rear light trims to black, doing the boot handle soon. i happy with the look, few photos taken tonight, big change from the photos above for some reason the normal photo bucket link wont work? i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc94/dean-williams/071A8C09-6DA9-45EA-BC32-9A53E72F2AFD-20047-00001C4486FD5050.jpgi216.photobucket.com/albums/cc94/dean-williams/E89AD849-E602-44C0-B15E-A786A5230B63-20047-00001C4490DE6EEE.jpg

You need some bigger wheels to go with that body kit. I still have a set of lm reps in need of a refurb if your interested. They would look good in black on your car

Well, now just clocked over 31,000 miles and just done front discs and green stuff pads, to be honest the discs could of been used again as they had little wear but , I had new discs so I just put them on.
Though it was going to be a bit of a pain, but it was the most easiest brake job I have ever done, all unbolted and fitted fine, even resetting the cars computer so it knows it has new wear sensors was really easy. made it easier in the new garage
Job done easy in a hour.
Rear pads are in 2000 miles, as of the cars computer, but more like another year ,8000 miles or more.

It's nearly 5 years since I picked it up. That's gone fast
Well it's just been through another mot with no advisories. And tax has gone up £5 to £100 for the year
But I noticed over the last few weeks a slight knocks noise at the back, bit like a boot latch noise
Checked all the normal bits. Boot catch, parcel shelf, things in the boot, but the noise was still there.
So under the car I went, pulling, pushing everything to hear the noise again. But nothing moved and no noise. Go out for a drive a go over a few bumps, " knock ,knock"
So on the Internet I jumped with quite a few people talking about it. And it ending up being a pair of anti roll bar bushes. Some people were having them go under warranty others just after it ended, some in 10,000 miles. BMW can supply a pair for around £7-8. But I decided to go the poly route, there more expensive but will last a lot longer, so i now just forget about them.
Very easy job wheel off both sides, undo 2 bolts remove the plate, remove bush out, new one in , plate back on and bolted up, same on the other side, wheel back on. Job done.

Is that just an r56 issue? Sounds like an easy fix though

Not sure but I bet the early mini r52-53 etc use the same type of anti roll bar and bushes at the later ones.
