rear bar mounted ready for rear engine mount
once this is done i will remove subframe and weld the under side as
i have done it all from above at the moment

The enigine turned out to be a Micra 1000 16v with a CG10 engine code. :-(

What it can't be. I went and picked up that engine and bought it as a 1275. The bloke stripped it from a low mileage 50 odd tho mile micra and assured me it was a 1275. But saying that we never checked the engine number or know where it is.

100% Matt or me did not know. Go back through the posts on mankey your see that.

Is that engine code for a 1275 or a 998

I do know the loom and linkage, ecu etc is from a 1275 micra.

The lad who's bought it is Sean Baedfords nephew, so Last night we went and had a look.
Sean is doing his own Micra conversion so has been researching lots,we first thought the gearbox was very small (1000 Micras have a smaller box than a 1300) so had someone put a 1000 box on a 1300 engine ?
Sean checked the engine number and said a CG10 is definitely a 1000 engine code,a 1300 code maybe CG13 but im not 100% sure.
