i have the right taps to do that i got them at a show last year, it may work ,if its striped the tread then it my not but if it just been crosses threaded it might, its worth a try, if it comes to it lock tight them in leave it to go off really hard, so hopefully it will not spin the head is tighterned up, last resort really
please this time if you look for a engine make sure its one that you have to change the gears not the car, 3rd time lucky but it looks like it was not that lucky, ha ha ha

poor old mankey has sat on my drive for about 18 months now she has been through 4 auto engines every time its the gear box that fails she looks a sorry old thing so with help from dean she has a new heart waiting to be fitted dean delivered this thur night the plan is to have the mankster ready for rivrun 2011 many thanks to dean for finding picking up and delivering the engine delly

It's a 1300 cc. 16v. 5 speed gearbox. Around 80bhp. With 50,000 on the clock. Fit lovely under a mini bonnet. Same amount of tax as a normal mini. For the money it cost to do this compared to rebuilding a a series to the same power. It's a bargain.

there will be a new front end going on new door skins rear side repair panels rear doors will be either replaced or repaired hi lows negative camber all round disc brakes front mini fins rear resprayed new colour new interior
all intime for rirun (hopfully lol)
