I would have, but didnt want to jinx it!

The duckling is also a Mayfair, but without the sunroof.... although I'm sure Simon would probably consider making one - whilst handling the cutting saw & angle grinder.

Though the poor little ducking is having a face job at the moment - & is slowing becoming more of an ugly duckling than the beautiful Swan it should be (which one day it will be!) ;D

Hopefully Dales little Mayfair will not be neglected like or for as long as our duckling has.

& by the looks of things the Mayfair is getting a good pampering! ;D

Work has been a bit slow lately, just not had any enthusiasm to get going

but the final stages are coming upon us

...Drivers door has been stripped and just needs primer now, passenger door also needs to be stripped and primered, along with A-pannels. After this my work will be complete, Car goes away in 12 days for new pannels to be fitted and a re-spray ;D ;D, Final colour has still not been decided

I just cant make my mind up about it, but I do have some ideas, most of which mum doesnt like

Had a go at building a boot liner today, its not perfect, but it'll do for me, needs covering and fitting properly. Here are a few pics

At last, some progress is finally being made. Wings are off and front pannel is on. Final colour is still top secret ;D It will hopefully be finished next week and will be fully unveiled the following week once final touches are added. 16 days left till i can start driving ;D ;D

Car was finally picked up today...and its a bit on the bright side

all thats needed to do now is fit my nice shiny bits and some new wheels. Then it can finally be driven ;D ;D
