Seriously there is none.
With so much going on I have not got round to plasma cutting the rear end out or doing much else worthy of pictures . Had to cancel the cutting out day I had booked . Will borrow my mates Compressor so I can use the plasma cutter at home which will save me trailoring the car to work.
So not really anymore to show than is already on view.
I have the frame and the fuel tank is about done , just needds a final pressure test and a coat of paint.

because its wider than the mini one , the inside of the wheels will start at the outside of the mini bodywork . dont want to use the f wheels all round or buy new wheels or silly big arches . Mgf stud pattern and wheel offsets are quite odd anyway . Been on the mgf forums . They seem to have trouble finding differant wheels .
Anyway its a sure thing now that its having a mini based allspeed frame, mini suspension, hubs and brakes .

went to bridges the breakers to get some engine mounts
all for £10 , what a bargain ;D
so the engine is now in the subframe , the gearbox on the mgf is not what the frame was designed for , that was the 1.6 but have sorted out the rear gearbox mount ok , need to move a bracket along the subframe a bit to sort that and I can then get the positioning of the left hand gearbox mount right. Again will need to remove existing mounting bracket from frame and re-weld in its new position . The frame is getting a bit scratched up but it will be sprayed a lairy colour so that does not matter.

Maybe not but most of the rainbow may feature .
Got my welder mate Sturgess on the case . He is knocking up some spacers on his lathe as part of re-engineering the rear gearbox mount . Should have all that done midweek . If he pulls his finger out . Blooming hope so because he goes to Canada at end of next week and wont be back till December .
