1979 minivan

I am selling my '79 van as I have bought a Cooper and cannot afford to run 2 cars.

The van is very solid, good subframes and no holes in bodywork, sills etc. She has a 1275 engine with LCB and 'sports' exhaust plus genuine Cooper S disc brakes and 10 X 6 revolution wheels.

There is some rust coming through around the tops of the wings (pictured) as well as a couple of other small scabs near the hinges and rear door bottoms.

I made a start on the interior but she really needs some nice carpets and general TLC inside.

She has a new MOT and tax until 31/10/06

buy the way got your old bike fixed up now, new brake cables / bottom bracket / straightend rear wheel. Goes like a dream mate.

Sorry to see your selling the van for a Cooper. I have a great passion for the commercials as you know .
Hopefully I will start the Pick up restoration in the new year .

Yeah, I will miss her a lot but I can only afford one car and it needs to be a reliable daily driver for work, I couldn't really afford to take the van off the road to have her finished how I wanted

Am loving not having to shout to passengers in the 'Coop though!!

Will be awesome to see work start on the pickup mate - any plans for it??

making it front engine rear wheel drive .
Toyota MR2 engine and rear subframe assembly in the back
8v Vauxhall , standard body on 10's
pickp version of my mk1, in looks not colour ;D
mgf engine and subframe in back .

So yes, loads of plans.
I can confirm it will have 10 inch wheels, disc brakes and the colour is not blue , it will be ...... ? A secret .
