there is a place in hailsham that will shot blast them for you for about £15 each or I think they will blast them and powdercoat them for £25 each, otherwise lots of sanding, some primer then a couple of rattle cans to finish.

they charge £7 a wheel. and if they are powder coated it will take longer to get off so it will cost more.
i had 4 alloys which were powder coated and it can take up to nearly and hour to clean all 4 so they charged me £50
the blasting booth has to make £60 an hour
they can also powder coat steel wheels and alloys, normally for £15 a wheel and that includes the blasting in the £15
i have done lots of wheels myself, it is very time consuming you will have to get the tyres taken off before blasting and remember it will cost about £5-10 a wheel to get the tyre back on, unless you know someone who can do it for a crate of beer!!!!!!
you can use paint stripper and it works,,, but by the time you have bought the stripper and got messy and spent time doing it , you might as well get them blasted, its easier!!!!
i found it out the hard way. i always have them back after blasting and sand out the curb marks on alloys
i bet shawn at stone cross will spray them for you if you dont want them powder coated but you will have to strip them,
spray cans are getting quite expensive as they are oil based and oil is high at the moment, you will also need primer and laquer
to do all this will cost you min £100 for a set of 4 alloy steel wheels
sorry to sound a bit off putting but over all as monkeyjim (Dave) said let a professional do it
