I Am about to buy a Mini Quant F ' reg,
Funny thing is I can not drive and know nothing about cars. I have just fell in love with her. It does need work and have had it checked by MOT technician friends. However I seek someone(s) who are willing to help me restore her. You can let me know what you want in return.
Think of having a project that you do not have to pay for and that when complete you will have given birth to my first child, lol. I am willing to learn, infact hungry to learn, and willing to help as much as i can.
Please contact me!
Regards, Mg
;D

Hi Welcome to the forum, same you missed the club meet Monday night in Eastbourne. Joski (Josie) is organising training nights to start with the basics and move on. Its due to start very soon so you've not missed out. PM Joski if your interested. Every mini is a project! ;D Its all about just giving it a go, haynes manual in one hand and the forum ready in the house. Thats the way most of us started, apart from the few cursed as a mechanic ;D:-X ;D There are a few like myself who are more than happy to help you in an emergency and others like Shawn (Minihaven) who can do servciing or minor and major work for a good price. I would start by coming to a club meet and chatting to a few mini owners at a club meet and go from there. You can find perfect minis for about £2500 or projects such as the one you've found from £600. Even a perfect mini needs a monthly afternoons maintenance. And its not always cheap. ;D Simon
