Hello, Again, I was wondering again, i have taken my engine out and have decided to take it apart and do some work on it. And one of the jobs i have decided is to paint the engine! I am currently cleaning the exterior with this brillian product "GUNK". Once that is done and competed the work i would like to paint it Green. Does anyone recommend any paints? and places to get them? ive heard some whispers about Moss-Europe? Is there a certain method in paiting the engine, and should i get an aerosole or a paint pot!!!
Kindest Regards Alastair!

moss europe, frosts restoration, sc parts, any of those places, i think it is about £18 or so. it's called bmc green. I've got about three quarters of a pot of it in my garage if that would be any use. I brushed it on and that gives an excellent finish.

i got mine at the shows for £5-6 a pot and that easy covers your whole engine and gearbox its best to give it 2 coats to get the best finish and make sure its really clean as it does not stick to oil, and do it in warm conditions.eg in a garage as the paint sticks better and drys quicker,
summerfords do it in a pot or a spray can, best to get 2 cans if you are going to spray it,
the car shop in eastbourne does engine paint in differnt colours you could ask if he can get bmc green in, plus you get 10% discount if you have a club card.
nothing special just a brush ,paint and white sprint to clean out your brush
