Hi Adrian, the brake backplate assemblies are all the correct type, the two master cylinders would work but for a 66 car should be the 'tin' type reservoirs as apposed to the plastic ones. These are the part numbers, Brake Master GMC171ORIGINAL Clutch Master AAU4969
The Slave cylinder should be the correct type assuming you still have a pre verto clutch fitted! You've got a 1275 in there haven't you? I've found that Moke Book, if you would like to borrow it get in touch. Paul

do not bother trying to email Minispares , you will not get answer.
put the part numbers in on the minispares website search
need to determine whether its verto or not. a short release arm is verto

Thankyou ever so much for your responses. The Master Brake and Clutch Cylinders, i know are meant to be the Metal ones, but is there any REAL difference?? (i wanted to get them but was wondering if plastic would corrode less to brake and clutch oil respectively, and there half the price!). I will be ordering the brake kits ASAP!! The Clutch Slave cylinder i will look at tomorrow and confirm the type - if i get stuck i will post!! yer it has a 1275GT engine installed, good memory!! Regards ALASTAIR

No real difference apart from looks and price, 1275gt lump should be non verto but best to confirm first as most minis (mokes!) have usually had their fair share of component swaps... p

Cheers Paul, I did want to get the Metal one, but am a little strapped for cash, and currently concentrating on getting it past an MOT, rather than its looks. However it will be receiving a Re-spray back to BMC Spruce Green, with a rust killer coating !!! Im nearly 100% sure its not non-verto, as the actual clutch master cylinder looks original (Hard to believe), so i the clutch Slave was probably left original non verto! Thank you very much for the heads up on the moke Buying guide!! Regards ALASTAIR
