i had a problem tonight going down th road when i began to brake it was juddering on the pedal. i didnt know what was causing this and then i lost all pressure and i t went from only just being able to press the pedal with the presure and then put the pedal to the floor no problem. does anyone know what might be causing this??? i think im going to take it down the garage.. and see if they can find out

Its only of a few things... Are you wheel nuts done up? Is there any play in the wheel bearing? ;D Is a caliper seized up? The list goes on, but the above applied to me previously with brake judder.

i had a loss of brakes aswell. there was no pressure beforehand i couldn't push the pedal down there was enough pressure. and now i can push it to the floor with hardly any effect... i have taken it to the garage this morning for which i feel guilty that i havent done the work myself. but i needed it done by saturday and if i goto do it wouldnt be ready for saturday

Sounds like a loss of fluid, wheel clyinder or the like was there any wet patchs under any wheel ?

loss of pressure, I really should listen/read a full post before replying. ;D Yeah I think welding up the boot will fix it ;D

no point telling you how to test it as your taking it down the garage anyway so you will find out soon enough .
So we might as well just have a guess .
I reckon master cylinder.

That was nice and easy. 48years oo mini's on the road would identified the problem earlier. When was your touque wrench last calibrated?
