i cant get it back on with new polyurethane bushes. has anyone got a top tip on how to get it back on???

i found that with poly bushes, you could cut them down a little but that defete the object of the being that size,
maybe put them in boiling hot water for a bit to make them softer then try to fit them
i will only use standard bush on things like that, i had the same problem with poly bush for the rear subframe they make everything wider and no thing lines up
standard bushes are softer and squash to size

Try lubing the lot up, lube should of been supplied, something poly friendly. Push the bushes into the arm first, the push through the metal tube/bush. Ac block of hard wood to protect the tube from a hammer and a block of hard wood on a solid surface worked for me. The tap the wood to tap the bush, then progressively hit harder.... Ensure it metal tube is correctly lined up on the initial taps.
