right the mini has just passed MOT ;D but... it failed at first cost me extra £100+ to get it passed . labour costs are ridiculous anyway when i got the pass certificate i also got a looooooong list of 'recomendations'.... which includes the usual; corrosion on floor pan and boot etc. but also includes corrosion on the front to rear brake pipe. so in the near future i feel this needs sortin.. i can get the new pipe off minispares for less than a tenner but other than refering to the trusty haynes manual i really dont know how to do it. a couple of months ago i renewed the fuel pipe so im guessing its going to be a similar job. has anyone got any advice?? cheers, chris

I always take the suspect brake line into VKM in Burgess Hill They make up a new one and charge for materials only! Probably a bit out of your way tho
