Anyone know if a rear back plate will fit on a drum brake front hub.? Or has anyone got a front drum set up and a rear back plate I could borrow to find this out . Only need to borrow . ;D

no rear back plate on drum is differnt to the front. as the front has two brake cylinders for twin leading brake. ;D ;D

If you have a tow bar to move the Duckling on the club trailer from Nutley to Heathfield... you could borrow the whole front sub frame assembly for a few weeks.!! Drums and all! ;D

Looking at the sc parts cat pictures.... you should be able to use a standard rear drum back plate upfront, as a single leading shoe drum. You just have to coverup the linkage hole in the back plate. But they are only diagrams..

will need rear foot and handbrake working in there standard form but fitted to front hubs .
