10" conversion will cost you a bomb as it looks like u have 12s? and standard discs? you would have to fit cooper s discs or equivalent or otherwise use the alloy japanese reverse rim style things.
I have 12x6 deep dish and a lot needed to be taken off of the bodywork at the front wing. worth it tho in my opinion, its covered by the arches anyway so you cant see what has been cut off

To convert from 12 inch wheels with the standard 8.4 inch discs all you need to buy are the calipers and a set of Metro pads.
you buy a pair of Minisport 4 pot calipers £295 and have your existing disc machined down from 8.4inch to 7.9 £20 locally and then buy a set of metro pads £15.00
or buy similar calipers from Minispares and take the discs to 7.5inch .
then you put on a proper set of wheels....... 10 inch ones ;D
I regretted putting 13's on one of my cars . It looked great , had loads of grip but tram-lined and was heavy to steer especially when parking . I now have a set of 10 inch MB Split rims ready to go on when it is nearing completion .
Stephens car in my opinion because he has the wider and deeper dish rims with the right arches fitted gives it the sports pack look . Without actually fitting the wheels that Andy from ML Motorsport calls Land Anchors .

:PMy opionion ;D I prefer 10" wheels as the handling is great, my first mini Mingie ran on 10" cosmics. brilliant with A008 (i think) yoko's on. Roger my rusty convertible runs on 12" still handles good but not the same as 10". cant comment on 13". Like Simon said each to there own ;D But Remember the Mini was designed around 10" wheels, so putting bigger wheels on will affect handling ect. :ogot my 10 pence in there ;D

Go for 13's I would stick 7*13s on me pickup if I dident think I you get linched! 10's are ok but it all depends on the look you after. BTW 13's handle OK with coilovers all round. N
