Brought a black chequer roof kit for my mini and tried to put it on this morning with alan/bean and didnt really go as well as i wud hoped. Anyone done one before that can give me some tips/help please!?! Ant  |

Not again  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I assume these a vinyl stickers? Find some shade away from the heat of the sun or wait untill the evening. The roof must be as clean as possible and I would recommend polishing first. Next you need a water spray gun, that will mist water onto a surface. (Mix in a bit of washing up liquid in it ONLY A DROP!!) Plan where you want the stickers - Spend lots of time making sure you are going to put them in the right place. Now remove the plastic backing and squirt the sticky side of the sticker with the water and the surface you about about to put it on. More is better but not to much as it will run off. Now place the sticker on and you will have a minute to move it about to get it in the right place. When ready, use a credit card, sorry debt card, start from the middle and work your way out of the sticker. Pushing out the water. Take your time to avoid air bubbles!! When finished.. if you do have and air bubble use a pin to pop it and push it flat. But it will not look the best it could. So get it right first time! ;D Good luck with it. |
