we were talking about discs and 10 inch wheels the other night .
Found this out whilst scanning through the Minispares catalogue and it concerns disc brake set ups used on coopers in the 60's.
We already know the Cooper 'S' 7.5 inch disc set up uses a differant outer cv joint to drum braked cars . It uses the joint as found in all 12inch wheeled Minis from 1984 and the GT from 74.
However the Cooper 7 inch set up uses the outer cv joint from the drum braked cars .
You can get all the 7.5 inch parts , the 7 inch calipers are not available new and neither are the drive flanges. Enquired for a customer at the end of last year on those ..
