when alan looked at my engine the other day he said about replacing my engine mountings. should i wait until sundays brooklands show and see if i can pick up a set there or just buy them of minispares?

Yeah wait till show. I always try to pick stuff up at shows rather than order it cos you know exactly what you're paying for when you can get your mits on it

while you're at it, try fitting some of these beauts along with polyeurythene mounts over the rubber type to make the engine more solid....stops you breaking exhaust manifolds especially if you hav an LCB whcih tend to leak badly

yes
and ... not too bad, there should be a couple of holes pre-drilled in the subframe for these mounts, or at least there were a couple on mine. Had to drill a hole though
