Got the loom out of my Studio 2 a few months ago.
Was wondering what the relay is that is located near the top subframe big bolt on the drivers side , right by that bunch of earth wires . Is it the headlamp dim dip ?
The car is 1990 .

I think it could be the one for the started solinoid does it have the main FAT BROWN wires going to it?

Couldnt tell you Neil , the loom is sitting on the back seat under 2 interiors  . I was just wondering , its not the dim dip because I am now sure thats under the dash. Will have to find out . d |

Yes Dave,am sure it is the relay for the starter solinoid. I disconected mine the other day to do some welding and forgot to conect it again  and the engine would not turn over. |

dave thats correct its the starter relay removed acts as a good immobliser !!
