tuning a 850cc engine

does anyone know what the best way of tuning an 850 is??

do you know of any books or websites that would be a good help??

any advice would be cool

similar to any other a series i'd say, theres lots of stuff on the net but be careful cos a lot is crap. Depends what your looking for
Stage 1 Kit as follows: -
Cooper Free Flow Exhast Manifold (Not LCB)
Maniflow SU carb inlet with HIF 38 carb
Filter and Needle to suite
Medium Bore Exhaust probably RC40 (Dont go large bore)
+ head & cam would see a good increase
depends on where you want to stop really

Cheepest option is to get a 1275 metro!

Its not the cheapest option if you take the insurence into consideration,
Go for the 850 dont be a sheep and follow all the 1275 flock. Be different.
