well the minio does what it does best... fail mots.. the damage isnt too bad but i got a few problems and i dunno how to fix them. firstly it failed because thwe wipers stop in the position they are turned off in.. any ideas on fix. there were other thinks like steering column was loose and the wheels are not alligned and reg light was not working. hopefully get it in before christmas anyway. rob

sounds like the park switch on the wiper moter, just clean up the teminals and see if that fixes it else its a recon moter i'm afraid.
lights shoud be easy to fix and wheel alignment can be done by any decent garage assuming you are on 12"+ wheels

Wheel alignment are you sure ? . Not a failure item in the class 4 MOT . Never has been since I have been testing . Read your failure again Rob . Better still put the VT30 failure items here on the forum.

MK1 wiper motors are not meant to self park . That came in during the mk3's I should think .

Non parking wipers are definately not a failure . I cannot advise on any failures for sure until I see them , so the best thing to do is put it on here word for word including the referance number before the wording on the VT30 failure sheet. Most MOT test stations are computerised now. The failure items are listed as a check list requiring you to click the correct box for failure . dave
