through a month of trial and working my way through a very rough and confusing list of things that could be wrong with my car i came to the conclusion that my fan belt needs replacing. anyhow been browsing around for one (which i thought would be pretty simple! ) there's too many to choose from - i think this one should be ok for my lil 850 can someone help me out and confirm if it is or not for me please. www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=34493Also......is this something i can fit myself when i have it? Thankyou. Alexandra

pop down to ur local motor factors ie ajays at st leonards or partco and they will look the correct one up for your car, although I think they are all similar length apart from perhaps the late ones with the high mounted alternator.
Whats wrong with the car? If the fan belt needs replacing it will be perished, otherwise it may just be adjusted too loose.
u can def do this yourself, have a haynes manual? only tricky thing is passing the belt over the fan and sometimes getting the belt tight, or even onto the pulleys in the first place can be a pain. Should take no more than half hour

I suggest you drive around to Jim's, block his driveway and cut the fan blade for good measure. ;D Its so easy someone could do it at the AGM......
