Heyho, Just had my engine serviced, now running sweet as a nut (and not rich for once ) But where they've adjusted the accelerator cable, i have to press it down a fair bit to get even low revs, can i just adjust the cable a bit tighter? Or will this open the butterfly and i'll be back to square 1?! Tom

If you get you head under the bonet, check out how much slack there is on the cable.
Either it will be a screw drive clamp or a couple of spanners job. Pull through the cable untill there is a small amount of slack, then retighten.
Do ensure that the butterfly/level does return to the closed position/stop without the accelerator cable been under tension once finished.
