A mini that don't like water whats new ;D ;D ;D i have try ed some things with little success, i had to resort to lots of black tape and WD on the L2B run. has anyone a good method that works at keeping rain away any input would help Thanks Dan

have you got a spalsh guard fitted?
if not get one or an ice cream tub lid fitted behind the grill also makes a good alternative

I have a splash guard it may need to be bigger. i think my main prob is the coil coz the dizzy is covered in black tape and i dont have points, but i will try a better guard thanks

rubber glove over the distributer one cable through each finger should sort it N :-)

a good service with ALL new components within the high tension area and then before installing them a good degrease of the dissy area and inside it too . what happens the oil and grease gets on the components then the dust sticks to it all and then it becomes like a sponge attracts the moisture like flies to sh1t. when the wet is in the grease / glue dust and all that it becomes conductive and then your high tension spark becomes lost instead of going thru the leads which offer more resistance than the water sodden matter hence a weak spark cos its going to earth instead.

Thanks for that. I have only just changed most parts so will whip them off and give them a good clean, i will also give the glove a go thanks again for the help, just need it to rain to see if it helps. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
