Cheers Stephen, Actuall it might have been your dad that mentioned the plates when we were talking at the mini steem railway. I'm only after cheep / legal plates for the MOT, nothing too posh or expensive. N

ahhh that could have been my dad, his friend has a garage that imports japanese cars and he makes number plates as a favour for my dad at cost price, I think he charges much less than halfords (12.99!) but i'm not sure if he makes them up for people normally, will find out. Otherwise try autolec off seaside
Stephen
I think the only reason the show plates are not legal is because they don't have a postcode of the maker on them which is required to be legal- have u ever seen an MOT tester checking that?!

Right I got me number plate made up. The cheepest place I found was AutoLec just off seaside. Cost £7.65 inc VAT Better quality than the old one I had which bend in the heat. N
