Hi Can anyone advise? Have just bought my first mini, and was told when i bought it that the passenger side damage was due to another car reversing into the front wing. It dented the door and A panel, and bent the tie-rod. Have only had car for about a week, and have replaced said tie-rod as well as the top arm which also looked iffy. I am getting a pulsing/juddering under heavy breaking (don't think it is ABS . I have adjusted the tracking as best i can, but am now at a lose as to what to check next. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Sausage

you have bought a handpainted mayfair with fluffy trim havent u. that car turned up at my workshop in saltdean.someone as u say drove into the nearside, smashed the a panel, bent the tie rod and definately bent the top suspension arm. u really need to get the wheel alignment checked if it is the same car. i recommend arrow tyres in newhaven, use them myself and they u lasers to check the 4 wheel alignment.
as for the pulsing on the brakes, well the car sat in the road for about a month and when it was to be moved the brakes were stuck on. u have bad brake judder , the front brake pads and discs urgently need replacing. if it is not the car i am thinking of the symptoms u describe still point to break judder under braking from the front discs/pads. speak to me at the club meeting tonight
