If its not one thing its another.......ggrrrrrrr!
Have just discovered that I need to replace brake calipers, drivers side has seized up, but I have been advised to change both.
The price has sent me into shock - need a stiff drink....lol.
Keep you posted with my progress

Hi ya Rachel,
You should find that doing the calipers is quite easy. Personly never done mini ones before but have done a few escorts, fiestas, metros(which are basically the same).
Anyway good luck. If you need a hand i'm availabe on sunday and i'm sure uncle Bill the stalker would help out.

Darren
Thanks for the encouragement.
Just need to get hold of the parts, then find time to fit them. Only get one day off a week. I looked through miniworld to get an idea of prices and some of them are sky-high (designer calipers) hee hee. Think I will stick to standard for the time being.
See you monday

Thanks Darren
The cheapest I have found so far is £79 on minisport website plus post and packing. If your mate can get them for same or similar price I would be grateful.

Neil Yes to both questions. Bodykit definitely needs to go. Uncle Billy has kind of talked me into doing up the spare, says its in quite good condition all things considered (and would be good for me to learn stuff on)....................but my green one takes priority at the mo. Then finances come into play But if you are gonna make me an offer I can't refuse....................

Well......... the calipers on the spare are all rusted up and practically welded in place, so not such a good idea after all. Rachel
