I've got some new rubber, ditched the poxy runflats and got some sticky Yokohamas instead. Ride quality is much improved and there is bags more grip, even in the wet. Also new discs and pads all round, a new rear wheel bearing and an oil and filter change...

I have been tempted to get shot of my run flats
But they have come in handy 3-4 times now. Lucky I only work 3-4 miles from home so I can just drive home and change the wheel over.
If I got rid of them I be stuck waiting for recovery or someone to bring my spare if I ever get a flat
I can't have a spare as I got a tow bar
The only thing I could do is to remove my tow bar and get another space save tyre, but then it's handy to have a tow bar.
Can't have everything.
But they do look nice. Nice to see how many miles you get out of them. Got my brakes and hoses to do over Christmas.

I don't have a spare either, the way I see it is if you get a blow out even with run flats I'll be getting recovered, if it's just a puncture I carry a can of tyre sealant so it's just the same as having a deflated run flat really... That's the theory anyhoo!

Looks like a good upgrade I'm on non run flats too but chuck a spare wheel in if I go long distance touring I carry tyre weld and those tyre plugs for if its a really big hole
