I started the job of replacing the headlining in the Micra Mini last night . When you remove the old headlining do not remove the rods that go through it . Be careful not to bend the rods. You must fit the rods into the new headlining in the same order they were fitted in the old one . Fit and tightness of the new lining depends on it . They are not all the same size and in fact have colourcoded plastic ends for identification.. This is the order the rods were in my headling , this is the original and never been out , the fit was good so I am happy the rods as I have listed them are in the correct order: Starting from the front of the car working back . Red White White Black Blue Yellow When you unwrap a new Newton Commercial headlining it does not state which end goes towards the front or back . Easy way to tell is look for last 2 slots the rods run in being close together . These 2 are always at the rear end of the headlining (back of the car) . This is basic info regarding headlining rods . I am not going into depth with it as they are not easy to fit and I do not want to be responsible if something goes wrong. I have bought a Newton Commercial headlining kit that does come with instructions that need following despite how brief they are . Any probs with the kit , fitting instructions or more tips on fitting phone Newton Commercials technical guy John White ....... very helpfull. Hope this helps someone in the future. Dave
