Yeah it should fit because I fitted one on my last mini which had a 45D dizzy and thats got the 45D dizzy cap. Great piece of kit and you can complete forget about having anymore points problems. Something to note though; you will need to get electronic rotor arm though because a non-electronic 1 hits the dizzy cap which I found out coursing the dizzy cap to rattle/move. Ant

So the arm I have now will not work with the cap I have now once the electronic ignition is installed?

No it will probably work with the arm you have got and I didn't realise the problem till my mini started playing up as if there was a points problem and I was thinking hang on a minute this shouldn't be happening seeing as I don't have points anymore. Wasn't till I had a look and noticed the dizzy cap was rattling quite alot where the arm was hitting it because sits slightly further out once kit is installed, swapped with an electronic arm and problem solved. Thanks Ant. I think I have a spare one like that so that will be handy Dean, I just had a look on the Aldon site... there is no difference in price for the Aldon one vs the Luminition one. The only difference I can see is the size of the rotating part which I think contains 4 magnets The reason I was thinking of going luminition is that Tim Mundy did a step by step install guide in miniworld last year and it looks easy... but then again the aldon one would be just as simple... oh choices choices... A lot more expensive but very cool. I'll be fitting a system to mine once I've run it in on a dizzy (requires a couple of hours on the dyno so not ideal for a fresh build)
