BONJOUR,
Left my mini outside in the cold for a couple of days without driving it and took for a spin yesterday evening to find that the clutch doesnt want to depress down much, especially when slowing down and when about to go into second. It's intermitent and generally is alright but i've gotta drive to cardiff new years eve and is a tad sketchy. I've checked the fluid level and its fine and there seems to be no leaks so short of the clutch simply being on its way out, i dont know what else it could be. Any help would be AWESOME!!!! Thanks

may just be your slave cylinder. or even the master cylinder
rebleed the whole clutch system through with new fluid.
and check the gap on the nut at the end of the bell housing
i would not jump to changing the clutch before you try everything else first, if the clutch has gone you would of know about it as it will start to slip and your biting point will be nearly on the floor or non at all
also have a look by the pedal and make sure nothing is getting in the way like carpet etc, also spray a bit of wd40 on the pin at hold the pedal to the master cylinder shaft in the pedal box
it may just be a bit stuck and need using more

have you got a hayes manual?
its where the arm for the cluch goes into the clutch housing, behind that you have to big nuts about 24mm, there has to be a gap between the casing and the nut, which is end float,
its all in the hayes manual, how to adjust it, what the gap size, etc, you will need a set of feeler guages, if thats not right your clucth will not be right
