Some of you will know I've been up to my neck recently in tuning Alex's 998 Mayfair. Big valve 12G295 head with hours of grinding and porting, twin HS2 carbs on gas flowed manifold plus much assistance with rocker geometry setting, fuelling and distributor tweaks by guru AC Dodd. Today we went to Sanspeed for AC to put it on the rollers and set it up. His comments may be found on the ML Motorsport forum but all the work was worth it. 68.5 Bhp and 72.5 lbs/ft of torque from a 998. Stonking! Thanks to AC for all the help and advice and it's been worth the work. 1275 not the only way to get a quick Mini! Happy Christmas to all our readers! M. ;D ;D ;D
