is there a carb for the 1275 exept hifi 44 or 38 that will go on my mg lump and run it well i have looked into 44 but thay arnt cheap is there a su carb that will run it or if anyone has a cheap 1275 carb for sale   |

Make sure you have a BDL or BFY needle for your MG lump/HIFF44.  Else get it to Gerald Dale once running to get the correct needle or one profiled to suit your car. As Alice in Wonderland (Kate) found out carbs have many different needle profiles to suit the type of engine. A simple swap of a carb can create carnage! |

There are a couple of software programmes for finding needles based on engine spec. the latest is winSU which is based on an old programme called Haystack. both can be found on google. N |
