big problem with doors and a pannels

as my garage diary shows im a novice and trying to replace panels. i have done both a panels but when refitting the doors pasenger door is fine opens closes maches up looks good. but the drivers dont open as it catches the a panel. the panel is nicly folded over the lip and spoted can anyone offer some advice before i rip it off and start again please both panels are same make and both have been fitted using the existing wings

There are shims that go between the hinge and the A post than can help with this problem, otherwise it's remove the a panel, do the initial fit with the door fitted then remove the door to weld it up.. Item 33 on this piccy;
