is it my diff or gearbox i have blown up!!!

hi ive just got in from pushing my mini up the road it was running fine and the steering lock for a second and made a cunch noise.
now i can put it in gear with no clutch engine running and wont move.
can any one help as i wont to start tomorrow and need to no if i need to take the engine out or not, 15 days for l2b

Definete diff. Engine out strip the box off rebuild it and diff. Bolt it back together. Get a compertion diff pin or buy a 4 cross pin diff your never blow them. It will take some time but you could get it done if you get your finger out.

i have a spare gear box and diff of a turbo so ill just fit that for now.
